Brian Rozendal

After completing his MA in English Literature in 2011, Brian Rozendal joined the writing center at Portland State University, where he worked as a consultant until 2017. During that time, he regularly consulted graduate and undergraduate students, many of whom were English Language Learners, while teaching the full sequence of undergraduate writing courses, including creative writing, developmental reading and writing, and technical and business writing. In 2012, Rozendal began working with doctoral candidates to help them prepare their dissertations for submission. Through client referrals and word-of-mouth, he took on more clients and more complicated editing jobs, expanding the services he was able to provide. Rozendal recently relocated to Southern Oregon, where he enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and playing live music.
